Sromowce Niżne a very attractive place for tourists situated in the Pieniny, on the left bank of Dunajec are the beginning of the Pieniny Gorge, picturesque landscape and impresses upon them królującym famous peaks of the Three Crowns. It lies opposite the Red Monastery. The first mention of the village dates back to the thirteenth century. To this day, preserved wooden church from the sixteenth century from the fourteenth century statue of Our Lady and Child. In a population of over one thousand inhabitants, who from one generation to acquire and maintain the tradition of primarily of rafting, agriculture and tourism. Homes in the Low Sromowce every year are embellished with countless different kinds of flowers which enhances the charm of the village and its tourist attractions. The village is also the seat of the Polish Association of Rafters Pieniny. With Sromowiec Low trail leads to the Three Crowns by Sobczynski Gorge. Can be found here only in Europe, crossing the ford of the river Dunajec.
Sobczański Gorge separates Pieniny Czorsztyńskie from the Three Crowns massif.
